Nordex has withdrawn its financial guidance for this year on uncertainties related to the Covid-19 pandemic, although preliminary figures released in advance by the German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer point to soaring sales and earnings potential during the first quarter.
“The impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic will affect the results of Nordex from the second quarter of 2020, which effects are not yet quantifiable,” Nordex said in a statement after its management board decided to withdraw its guidance only issued on March 24.
