The wind OEM – which completed its €785m ($893.5m) takeover of the Spanish turbine group on 4 April – said sales grew to €637m in the first quarter, from €497 in the 2015 January-March period.
That came as turbine shipments rose to 574MW from a year-earlier 462MW, while installations more than doubled to 490MW.
Orders of €541m were down 16% on 2015’s first quarter, when Nordex booked a major deal that is still working its way through its backlog, which stood at €1.64bn
