The buyer, CG Power Solutions USA, is a subsidiary of Indian transmission and distribution player Crompton Greaves. CG Power, formerly MSE Power Systems, has been a major substation, transmission and engineering, procurement and construction contractor, working on interconnections for almost a quarter of US installed wind capacity, Nordex says. The project represents a first foray into US wind development and investment.
