German wind OEM Nordex has installed the first of its ultra-large class low and moderate turbine, the N163/5X, with series production of the Delta4000 series model set to start.
The machine, which flies 80-metre blades with a swept area of 20,867m2, was put up at the Janneby project in Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost state of turbine maker’s home country.
