Weaker winds and impairment losses pushed down nine-month results at German utility EnBW.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) in the sustainable generation infrastructure segment that includes renewable energy fell by 11.3% to €852.7m ($976.6m), mainly due to poor wind conditions at offshore and onshore wind farms, relative both to the previous year and the long-term average.
