NextEra to add 1.15GW US, Canada wind capacity in 2015

NextEra Energy Resources has signed long-term contracts for 980MW of US wind projects to enter 2015 service, and is “extremely well positioned” to take advantage of the latest federal production tax credit (PTC) extension to add further capacity in 2016.
