French cabling contractor Nexans will supply the export cable for Parkwind’s 219MW Northwester 2 wind farm under development some 52km off the coast of Ostend in the Belgian North Sea.
Nexans will design, manufacture and test the submarine power cable for the offshore wind farm which will feature 23 MHI Vestas V164-9.5MW turbines – the first commercial deployment of the new machine.
