Newco Corio Generation has inked a joint development deal with Vietnamese construction and infrastructure group Fecon, for a 500MW offshore windfarm off Vung Tau province.
The eponymous Vung Tau project, located 23-35km off the city of Ba Ria in water depths suited to fixed foundations, could produce around 1,250GWh of clean electricity a year, according to an analysis by the Corio-owner the Green Investment Group.
