New York has announced an expedited round 4 offshore wind tender on 30 November to claw back capacity likely facing termination after state utility regulators rejected petitions from two project developers seeking to renegotiate contracts at higher offtake prices.
Bids are due in January, according to New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (Nyserda), which is overseeing clean energy development.
