New RAF radar may clear the air for stalled UK wind farms

Wind farm proposals in northern England and Scotland that are stuck in the UK’s planning system because of Ministry of Defence (MoD) objections could go ahead after officials confirmed the purchase of a radar system that is not affected by turbines.
