New Jersey could seek up to 2.4GW of offshore wind power in its second procurement round, in a stepping-up of the state’s ambitions for hitting its 7.5GW goal for wind at sea by 2035.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) issued draft guidelines allowing state officials to seek between 1.2GW and 2.4GW.
