GE Renewable Energy booked another big wind deal in India, in a new boost to the turbine OEM’s fortunes in one of the world’s most hotly-contested markets.

The US-owned manufacturer will supply its 2.7-132 machines to a 327MW wind farm in Madhya Pradesh being built by SB Energy.

The developer, a unit of Japanese conglomerate SoftBank, won a power deal for the Pritam Nagar project in an Indian government wind auction.
