The Ocean Winds joint venture of Portuguese and French utilities EDPR and Engie has firmed its order to Siemens Gamesa for the 882MW Moray West offshore wind project off Scotland.
The Spanish-German wind turbine manufacturer in October 2021 had already been named preferred supplier for the project in the Moray Firth that is expected to produce first power in 2024.
