Swedish floating wind player Hexicon has wrapped a key model tests as part of the design work for its twin-turbine concept, being geared up for prototype trials in Europe.
Basin tests at the Marine centre int the Netherlands of the company’s patented TLP (tension leg platform) mooring system, including extreme weather operations in the equinvalent of 20-metre-high waves, “exhibited desired results”, said Hexicon CEP Marcus Thor.
