Modec's Skwid wind/tidal offshore turbine sinks again off western Japan

Modec’s 500kW Skwid hybrid wind/tidal offshore turbine has sunk off the coast of the Japanese island of Kyushu for a second time, marking the latest setback in the Japanese marine contractor’s plans to test the ambitious prototype.
