MingYang Smart Energy is set for a debut foray into Japan in another market entry for the wind turbine manufacturer that is among the most ambitious Chinese players internationally.
MingYang will deliver three typhoon-class 3MW turbines to an unnamed project off Japan that will begin construction in 2022, the company said in an update, adding that it is "developing a local operation team to better provide wind turbine supply and O&M services to customers".
