The Parkwind consortium has confirmed its order with MHI Vestas for the 219MW Northwester 2 array off Belgium’s North Sea coast.
The Danish-Japanese offshore wind OEM had first announced the order – still conditional – in April. It will mark the first time MHI Vestas will deploy its 9.5MW machine, with 23 turbines to be delivered and installed in late 2019.
