Offshore wind OEM MHI Vestas will cut 148 jobs from its Danish plants that it said “marks a pause in its production capacity growth”.

The joint venture between Vestas and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will shed the jobs from its blade facility in Nakskov, nacelle plant in Lindø, and the PCM facility in Esbjerg.

Due to delays in the company’s project pipeline, the growth that was anticipated in production will not materialise as expected, the company said in a statement.
