MHI Vestas seeks US offshore wind 'critical scale'

MHI Vestas is encouraged by the US government’s strategy to develop an offshore wind industry, but would need to see “critical scale” between one and two gigawatts of annual new build to consider investing in a manufacturing plant there, says Uffe Vinter-Schou, chief sales officer at the company.
