MHI-Vestas nails first commercial order for V164-8.0 turbine

MHI Vestas has landed a breakthrough first commercial order for its giant V164-8.0 offshore turbine, with Danish utility Dong Energy choosing the machines for its 258MW Burbo Bank Extension (BBE) wind power project off the UK.
