A bumper order in Australia has boosted the third quarter order intake of wind turbine manufacturer Nordex, while machines sold are becoming ever larger.
The German-Spanish OEM during the quarter firmed an order for 162 units of its N163/5.X model with a combined rated output of 923MW for the MacIntyre project in the Australian state of Queensland.
That helped push third quarter turbine orders to 1.83GW,
