Germany-based 8.2 Consulting said it is working with Masdar “as technical advisor for due diligence services considering an investment in a 1.5GW portfolio of different offshore projects on the European market”.
The consulting group gave no further details of the potential investments.
The Abu Dhabi clean energy group is the type of major partner coveted by European offshore developers as they attempt to finance increasingly large and expensive projects off the continent’s coasts.
