A giant order of wind turbine blades that will include the longest ever imported into North American have started arriving by ship at the Port of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.

A first cargo for the 136-metre rotored 4.2MW Goldwind machines being installed at developer Potentia Renewables’ Golden South wind energy project in the prairie province of Saskatchewan, have just been offloaded from the MV Stat Kilimjaro, having completed the trans-Pacific journey from the one of the turbine-maker’s factories in China.
