Brazilian manufacturer WEG booked a firm order for 180MW of turbines that marks the first for its 4MW platform unveiled in May 2019.
The 43, 4.2MW machines will be produced for a project to be built by local power group Aliança Energia.
WEG said the contract includes a long-term operation and maintenance deal for four wind farms that Aliança Energia is planning.
