Lithuanian utility Ignitis Group has linked with Ocean Winds to plan a 700MW offshore wind development in the Baltic nation after a year-long search for a partner.

State-controlled Ignitis – formerly known as Lietuvos Energija – will take a 5% stake in the UK’s 800MW-plus Moray West offshore wind farm to kick-start its relationship with Ocean Winds, a joint venture between utility giants Engie and EDPR.
