Ocean Winds gave the investment green light for the 30MW Golfe du Lion project that will bring floating wind to the Mediterranean as soon as next year.
The offshore wind developer and the project’s co-backers said a final investment decision will mean Golfe du Lion – one of four floating pilots backed by the French government – can proceed to sign contracts with suppliers and proceed to implementation.
