Latest German onshore wind round falls short 'but we're on the right track'

Germany’s latest onshore wind tender was still undersubscribed, but the bid level was relatively stable compared to the previous auction, a fact the organising federal grids agency considered to be positive.

Bids for 1.84GW in wind projects were handed in at the February auction, while 2.49GW had been on offer. That compares to 1.98GW in bids at the previous auction in December.
