Russia next month plans to start auctions for almost 7GW of wind, solar and hydropower capacity under a revamped support scheme for commissioning in the 2023-35 period that includes higher local content rules and introduces an export requirement, the country’s wind industry association (RAWI) said.
The tender is slated to allocate 360bn Russian rubles ($4.9bn), which according to calculations by the energy ministry should lead to the construction of 6.7GW
