A group of Japanese companies have formed a new industry association aimed at fostering the development of floating wind capacity in the country.
The initiative, which has the approval of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, is intended to encourage technology collaborations including joint industry projects (JIPs), according to a statement released after the group's first ever meeting.
