Belgian offshore contractor and shipowner Jan De Nul has sold its Taillevent offshore wind installation vessel to Chinese offshore newcomer Oceanrich Industry (Shanghai), as it aims for next generation vessels that can cope with larger turbines.
“With next generation offshore wind farms almost upon us, Jan De Nul Group is selling the jack-up installation vessel Taillevent,” the company said in a note.
