Jan de Nul sees delivery this year of 'no legs' floating offshore wind vessel

Belgian contractor Jan de Nul has launched its Les Alizés next generation floating offshore wind installation vessel at the CMHI Haimen shipyard in China and is entering the final phase of its construction, with delivery expected in the second half of this year.

The vessel first announced in 2019 unlike other installers has no legs, but is able to deploy XXL offshore wind components in floating conditions with low emissions.
