The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) published its fourth quarter market report showing that a dramatic slow-down in 2010 installations cost the US its lead in the global wind race. Rechargereported the association's initiall 2010 projections earlier this month.
Installed capacity in the US grew by 15%, compared to an increase of 62% in China, the AWEA says, citing a report from the Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association.
