Iowa utility seeks expedited approval for $1bn wind project

Interstate Power & Light (IPL) has asked Iowa regulators for “early and expeditious approval” of its proposed $1bn, up to 500MW New Wind project, which would allow the utility to qualify it for the full federal production tax credit.
