Concrete relationship: RWE and China Cement to boost Taiwan offshore wind alliance

German utility RWE and Asia Cement Corporation (ACC) plan to expand their existing partnership in offshore wind in Taiwan, with new projects under development of the coasts of Hsinchu, Taichung and Changhua that include both floating and bottom-fixed arrays.

Taiwan intends to auction off 9GW of offshore wind capacity over the next three years for commissioning in 2026-35, on top of 5.5GW
