Chicago-based Invenergy has sold its 69.5MW Corriegarth wind facility in Scotland to Greencoat UK Wind, a fund run by renewables infrastructure investor Greencoat Capital.

Invenergy did not release terms of the transaction, although it was reportedly sold for £181m (€197.4m).

Located 31km southwest of Inverness, Corriegarth was completed in October 2015 and commissioned in April. It utilizes 23 Enercon E82 turbines.
