REG’s Canadian wind division, known as AIM PowerGen, holds an operational portfolio of 40 megawatts (MW) centred in the province of Ontario. Its 40MW Harrow project is under construction and set to be finished by early next year, and it has a development pipeline totalling 1.2 gigawatts stretching across Ontario.
From 1 October 2009, Ontario will enjoy North America’s largest and most generous feed-in tariff.
