The repeat orders, said to be cumulatively worth over 20bn rupees ($300m), will be carried out on a turnkey basis in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka. All the orders are expected to be commissioned by March 2017.
Noida-based Inox said the contracts are expected to include the supply and commissioning of turbines as well as multi-year operations and maintenance agreements.
“The repeat orders from some of the nation’s leading independent power producers and corporates further cement Inox Wind’s leadership position in the Indian wind market,” claimed the company.
