Innogy, a unit of German utility RWE, plans to take part on upcoming offshore wind auctions in France, the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK, Innogy chief operating officer Hans Bünting said.
“We will take part in the next auction in France. It is supposed to take place before Christmas,” Bünting said during a press briefing.
Innogy has joined a consortium for the French tender, but due to a confidentiality agreement can’t tell with whom yet.
