The order, for Inox’s 2MW doubly-fed induction turbines, manufactured under license from AMSC Windtec, follows Inox’s 17-unit order last summer. The company did not disclose how many units are represented in the latest order.
Inox director Devansh Jain says its partnership with AMSC “has enabled us to enter full-scale manufacturing quite rapidly, taking us one step closer to our goal of becoming a leader in the global wind power marketplace.”
