India’s wind manufacturing sector stirred from its Covid-19 lockdown when turbine manufacturer Inox said it had resumed operations at three plants.
Inox Wind said its factories in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh are working again after obtaining necessary local permits and implementing coronavirus safety measures.
India imposed a sweeping lockdown on 24 March, restrictions that were extended for a further three weeks in mid-April.
