India’s power minister stoked new anticipation over the long-awaited lift-off of its offshore wind sector by saying it will soon auction 2GW of capacity – but a leading analyst warned that the industry remains to be convinced about the commercial conditions around projects there.
RK Singh told this week’s Clean Energy Ministerial in New Delhi that “our journey is incomplete without offshore wind”, Indian media reported.
