The proposed 784MW Inch Cape offshore wind farm in the UK has submitted new plans for its onshore infrastructure, after initial plans were met with local opposition.

Following feedback on the initial application, the ICOL developer said it spent last year consulting with members of the public on a new location.

The East Lothian Council has now received a new application for planning permission in principle, proposing the former Cockenzie power station site as the new location for Inch Cape offshore wind farm’s onshore substation.
