Illinois approves Clean Line wind transmission project

The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) has approved an order granting Clean Line Energy a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to construct and operate the Illinois portion of the proposed 780-mile Grain Belt Express transmission line.
