IEA's wind-energy forecast is 'curiously pessimistic': GWEC

The world could source nearly one-fifth of its electricity from wind farms by 2030, according to the Global Wind Outlook 2010, although gaping discrepencies between its most modest and advanced forecasts mean its contribution could be much smaller.
