Iberdrola and Polish utility Enea won’t be advancing plans for the Spanish renewables giant to invest in up to 3.3GW of offshore wind off Poland, according to a stock market update.

Enea told investors the two parties had decided to terminate exclusive talks that started in June over potential co-development of Baltic Sea projects.

No reason was given for the decision, but Enea said the two parties remain “open to the possibility of future co-operation”.
