Spanish utility Iberdrola, one of the world’s biggest wind operators, has signed green loan agreements worth €800m ($907m) with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Instituto de Credito Oficial (ICO) for the development of over 2GW of new renewables capacity in Spain.

EIB and ICO will provide €600m and €200, respectively, to finance the construction of over 20 wind and solar projects.
