Iberdrola gets nod for 1.5GW of Romanian wind projects

Spanish green-energy goliath Iberdrola Renovables has gotten the green light from the Romanian government to build and connect 50 wind parks totalling 1.5 gigawatts (GW), in a push that would be the world’s largest-ever onshore wind development.
