Iberdrola has installed the final turbine at its giant East Anglia 1 project off eastern England, completing the UK’s second-largest offshore wind farm in the teeth of the coronavirus pandemic.
The last of EA1’s 102 Siemens Gamesa 7MW wind turbines was put in place last week, said the Spanish energy giant’s CEO Ignacio Galan, with full power output expected by June.
