In Mexico, Iberdrola already operates the 80MW La Ventosa wind farm, and is building the 103MW La Venta III farm. All three projects consist of Gamesa G52 turbines and are located in the municipality of Juchitán de Zaragoza in the southern state of Oaxaca, where the great majority of wind power is going up in Mexico today.
Of Iberdrola Renovable’s 12GW in operation across the globe, 7GW are equipped with Gamesa equipment.
