The EU’s wind industry today (Tuesday) got a welcome New Year’s resolution of action from its member states when 26 energy ministers and more than 300 companies signed up to the bloc’s European Wind Charter.
By signing up to the charter, governments committed themselves to implement the measures put forward under the EU Wind Power Package, which EU leaders are counting on to help cement a revival of its under-pressure wind industry and wider supply chain.
